New Orleans, LA is famous not only all over the country but also all over the world for Mardi Gras. Other than that, the city is famous for a lot of other things. As a tourist, you must realize there are a lot of places to visit in so little time. Here are a few things to do in New Orleans:

Watch a New Orleans Pelicans Game

The Smoothie Center is the place that hosts all the New Orleans Pelicans game. The team has basketball’s next young star in Zion Williamson. Thus, they should be on their way to the playoffs in no time. They even have Most Improved Player Brandon Ingram on their roster. Better get some good seats and watch these professional players give their best effort in trying to give the Pelicans a win. 

Join a Ghost Tour

Get spooked anytime of the year not just Halloween when you join a New Orleans ghost tour. You will come across various haunted houses where vampires and other ghouls used to roam the area. This tour is not for those who have a faint heart though so better think twice about joining it if you are easily scared. 

Hop on a Swamp Tour

New Orleans is famous for its swamp but be careful because there are a lot of insects so better apply some lotion on your skin. The tour guide will give you a lesson regarding what you can expect on the tour so better pay attention. There is no doubt you are going to enjoy every second of it. Get a feel of how the reptiles there live their everyday lives. 

Have a Few Drinks at Bourbon Street

If you are a history buff, this is the best place to be. The museum is full of World War two museum that you don’t want to miss out. In addition, you are going to learn a lot of things that happened during that time. You won’t believe the amount of artifacts that they have in store for you. It was certainly a time that changed the entire world as we know it. 

Check Out City Park

The park is so huge that you will always have something to do there. There is the Louisiana Children’s Museum where you can take your kids to and they will learn a lot of new stuff. There is also the New Orleans Art Museum for those who appreciate art. 

One week is certainly not enough to go around New Orleans. It is such a nice place to visit that a lot of places will catch your eye. Before you know it, you are having the most fun time you ever had in your life.
